I have literally known Lizzy the large majority of her life, her oldest sister is my very best friend in the world since fourth grade.... which means I have been around for a while.  I have truly seen Liz grow up into a remarkable young woman and now she is done with high school!  We all run into a rollercoaster of ups and downs, and Liz has definitely finished on top!  She is amazing and will do amazing things in her life.  I love you Lizzy and Congratulations! 

One of the best things about our job is getting to know our clients.  Kim and Scott are AMAZING people!  We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know and be a part of their very special day.  The circumstances leading up to their wedding were not always the easiest for the two of them, but WOW did their wedding turn out absolutely beautifully!  The ceremony was at the beautiful Santa Clara Mission and the reception was at the DeAnza Hotel in San Jose... BOTH BEAUTIFUL places! 

We met up with Meara and Justin last weekend at her dad's property in Woodland for their second engagement shoot (first with us).  We had such a blast getting to know them better and photographing them along the way.  There are certain people that you meet and feel like you have known forever, and could be really good friends with... Meara and Justin were these type of people... and we look forward to their wedding in October!

After a few wrong turns down dirt roads and shady bridges we finally made it to the wedding :o)  Chelsea was an absolutely stunning bride, and Glenn was quite the excited groom!  They will be blessed with a wonderful marriage and we are so thankful to have been a part of their special day!

Is one of the cutest, sweetest little girls ever!  We have been waiting and searching for a fabulous field of flowers this spring, and I think this one did just perfectly!  Morgan turns 2 next month and is enamored by the world of discovery... the flowers, the geese, and the ladybugs kept her attention far more than the camera, but it was still such fun and we were able to capture the true reality of what a blast two year old girls are (yes I know this from experience too...)   I think that return clients are my favorite because I really get to see the kids grow up through the lens... it is fantastic!  Here is a sneak peak!

What a beautiful day in Newport Beach!  I guess you really can't ask for much better than what Newport has to offer!  Erin went to high school with Kara so she has known her for quite a while... but it was fun to catch up over a fun engagement session at the beach!  We cannot wait for their wedding in August... no more broken arms though fingers crossed!

Stephanie and Robert met one year ago today... and... obviously it is a happy ending!  I did their engagement pictures in Downtown Sacramento this morning (where Robert proposed) and these two are so much fun!  We met Stephanie at the Bridal Show we were in back in February and lucky girl won our free engagement session... so here are the results, and I could not ask for anything more, hopefully they can't either!!! 

I should share Stephanie's warning she gave me before we took the pictures, which I thought was sooo cute! 

"We have never done this before!" (Stephanie)... I think when it comes to taking engagement pictures, most people don't take them until they are engaged...BUT even with her fair warning, they turned out amazing :o)


Congratulations you two!  I think it is awesome your mutual friend Craig introduced you two!

Everything in Napa was absolutely PERFECT on Sunday.  The weather, the views, the radioshack ;o), the champagne, but most importantly Kim and Scott!  I felt like I have known them forever, which is sometimes not the case in the slightly awkward initial meeting... but not this time.  They are absolutely fabulous!  And though they were a self professed non-photogentic couple I completely disagree!  I cannot wait for their fabulous wedding in June!  Kim will be a stunning bride!!!
